Solutions for the 2nd escape route

The prescribed second escape route is often via patio doors. If there is automatic privacy and sun protection there, it must quickly clear the escape route in an emergency.

The ExitSafe module and a 12 V drive enable blinds, shutters or screens to be opened and closed even if the power supply fails. This is ensured by a lithium
Lithium-ion battery connected to the escape route module. The battery is charged with mains voltage and is protected against overcharging and deep discharge.
In addition to the battery and the 12 V drive, the ExitSafe can also be connected to operating elements such as central controls or buttons. A smoke detector can also be connected to it.
This provides even more security: if the smoke detector is triggered, shutters, blinds or screens are raised independently of the mains voltage.

When using the VarioTec-868 DC as a control unit, the existing privacy and sun protection can be operated via radio even in the event of a power failure.
Time and sun protection commands for the blinds can be activated or deactivated via the slide switch.
