The overload protection prevents the sun or glare protection system from being operated by force in accordance with DIN EN 14203. The crank drive only exerts a torque on the blind shaft until a defined resistance occurs - usually when the blind is retracted into the upper end position
defined resistance - usually when the blind moves into the upper end position - occurs. When the upper end position is reached, the overload protection is triggered: the crank can still be turned,
but only transmits a predefined maximum torque to the hanging shaft. This protects the blind, box, gearbox and crank from overloading.
