The multisense weather station records measured values for brightness, wind, precipitation and temperature. The measured values are transmitted to the WAREMA Wisotronic via a four-wire bus cable.
This controls the connected sun shading products depending on this weather information. The weather station is installed outdoors using a mounting bracket or a standpipe.
Function
The weather station records precipitation events such as rain or snow, wind speed, ambient brightness, twilight and outdoor temperature. The weather station only needs to be connected as a network
the 24 V DC power supply is provided via the four-wire bus cable. Four photosensors arranged at right angles record the ambient brightness, with sensor 1 also recording twilight values in a second measuring range
additionally records twilight values in a second measuring range.
Sensor surface forprecipitation detection
In the event of precipitation in the form of drizzle, rain or snow, the sensor triggers a switching signal. The sensor surface can be heated. If the outside temperaturefalls below +15 °C or precipitationis detected
, the heating is activated and thus prevents triggering solely due to high humidity aswell as icing at sub-zero temperatures. After precipitation has been detected, the sensor surface driesagain quicklyby
the heating. The inclination of the sensorsurface creates the necessary angle for water to run off the sensor surface.
