Description

The MSE Kompakt 1 UP is an electronic control unit for direct control of 230 V AC sun shading drives. The drive and this motor control unit are supplied via the 230 V AC mains cable.
Despite its compact design, the device has a built-in power supply unit that provides the internal supply voltage. The motor control unit also has a switch for selecting time logic (factory setting)
or permanent logic to enable type-specific operation of different sun shading systems. It is designed for installation in a deep flush-mounted switch box. The sun shading device can be operated both
operated by means of a push-button on site or via a sun shading control unit (e.g. Wisotronic). Several motor control units can be combined into a group and operated together from one push-button

Functionality

Time logic/permanent logic switchover (switch S1) Switch S1 (is used to select time logic (factory setting) or permanent logic.

Local operation with time logic:
The sun shading product moves in the corresponding direction after the local push-button is pressed. If the push-button remains pressed for longer than 2 seconds, the motor control unit switches to self-retaining mode.
The push-button can then be released. The sun shading product moves until the running time of approx. 3 minutes has elapsed. To cancel the self-retaining function and stop the motor, briefly press the button opposite the move command
. To reverse the slats only, briefly press the local buttonbutton must be pressed briefly.

Local operation with permanent logic:
This control behavior is ideal for roller shutters, for example : After pressing the local button , the roller shutter moves in the corresponding direction and immediately goes into self-retaining mode.
The button can be released immediately and the roller shutter moves until the fixed running timeofset running time of 3 minutes. To cancelthe latching function and stop the motor,
briefly press the button opposite the movementbutton opposite to the movement must be pressed briefly.

Central operation:
Local operation is disabled for the duration of central operation, and any existing latching function is deleted.

Important: If the drive does not reachthe "High" or "Low"limit switch within 3 minutes, the drive is automatically switched off, regardless of whether there was a local or central command.

Group formation via control line:
Several motor control units can be switched as a group via the control line and operated centrally via a push-button . Please refer to the connection diagram.
