The wind sensor is used in conjunction with the control panels to measure the wind speed in order to prevent damage to the sun shading system during storms.
The wind sensor is equipped with a heater to prevent freezing in the event of frost.
Installation
The wind sensor is mounted by attaching it to a pole, preferably at the highest point of the building. Optionally, it can be mounted with the aid of a mounting bracket
either on a mast on the façade of the building.
Maintenance
Care should be taken to ensure that all 3 wind sensor shells are in perfect condition. Broken shells must be replaced. When using the wind sensor, the
VDE regulations and the regulations of the trade associations for work on electrical devices and systems must be observed when using the wind sensor.
Calibration
To ensure that the wind sensor operates in the correct measuring range, it must be calibrated with the control center. When the wind sensor is delivered with the control panel, the control panel is
is already calibrated to the wind sensor. If the wind sensor is retrofitted or replaced, it must be calibrated.
